DECA ICDC 2026 Yielded Incredible Opportunity And Achievement!

For the first time in school history, our students reached a new level of international success. Marketing Practicum seniors Katelyn Bui and Isabelle King joined more than 15,000 global competitors, earning a Top 10 finish in their Marketing Management Team Role-Play and also advanced as Finalists. The Top 20 competitors with the highest combined Exam and Role-Play scores advanced to finals. While they did not place in the Top 3 to win DECA Glass, their efforts have set a new standard of excellence for the program.

Thank you to Group 1 Ford of Rockwall, Rayburn Electric Cooperative, Alliance Bank, and Lacy Deckard with Ebby Halliday for your continued belief in and investment in our future leaders and young professionals. We truly appreciate your partnership and support.

Culinary Students Go To The National ProStart Invitational Competition

The Rockwall ISD culinary arts program this past weekend represented The Lone Star State of Texas at the National ProStart Invitational Competition and placed amongst the top 10, earning 8th in the entire country!

These five students competed against the other number one teams from every other state in the country and to rank amongst the top ten is no small feat.

Our students delivered nothing short of an amazing performance, showcasing not only their culinary skill, but their discipline, teamwork, and professionalism on a national stage. They rose to the challenge with determination and pride, representing Texas with excellence every step of the way.

FCCLA 2025-2026 State Fashion Design Competition

The 2025-2026 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America competition team, made up of 12 amazing students, recently showcased their talent and dedication at the FCCLA State Competition held at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, Tx. This talented and creative group represented us with excellence, demonstrating hard work, innovation, and true passion for their projects. Their efforts paid off in an incredible and unprecedented way, with 10 out of 12 students earning a place in the top five and being recognized on stage during the awards ceremony. Even more exciting, six of these outstanding students will advance to compete at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, DC this summer, making history for our chapter as we have never before sent more than five students to the FCCLA National Convention. These 6 extremely talented and creative students will be representing the wonderful state of Texas as they qualified placing first and second at the 2026 FCCLA State Fashion Design competition in Dallas, Tx.
