Scholarships can be found through a myriad of different ways: Local, National, College, Organizations, etc. There are many scholarship opportunities out there for students to be able to attend their chosen institution. All it takes is the dedication to fill out the applications! We will continue to update this webpage for any scholarship opportunity that we find for our students.

Rockwall ISD Local Scholarships (Deadline: 1/19/26)
Many local organizations and businesses offer scholarship options to Rockwall ISD graduating seniors.
Things to Remember

To help you apply, you can use a "Local Scholarship Application" for most of the applications.
- Students will download the fillable PDF of the Rockwall ISD Local Scholarship Application and fill it out.
- Save the PDF to your computer file or desktop using this format. Campus.last name.student ID.pdf ie., RHHS.Smith.12345.pdf
- Click the button below to access the scholarships offered for your campus. You must use your student Rockwall ISD Google account to access the scholarship applications.
- Review the requirements for each of the scholarships for which you want to apply. Various scholarships will require you to upload additional qualifying documents or essays.
- Apply and upload your completed application and any required qualifying documents to each of the scholarships for which you would like to apply.

General CTE Scholarships
- Castagra Roofing Scholarship: available to students pursuing a post-secondary education in college or vocational programs in roofing or a similar field. Similar field must be applicable to the building industry (construction, waterproofing, etc.), passionate about innovation and/or sustainability, and an American or Canadian citizen or permanent resident (Deadline: 9/4/26)
- Home Depot Foundation Path to Pro Scholarship: available to seniors who plan to enroll—or already be enrolled within one year—in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school or institution in the United States, including technical or vocational schools, community colleges, and training centers. Eligible career paths include carpentry, construction management, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing (Deadline: 9/30/26)
- Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Art Contest: available to Texas high school seniors (Deadline: 9/26/26)
- DEED Scholarships: available to student applicants who plan to attend an accredited vocational institution, lineworker school, or two to four-year college/university within the U.S. and must not be graduating within 12 months of the application deadline (Deadline: 10/15/26)
- Mike Rowe Foundation Scholarship: available to seniors who are U.S. citizens who plan to go to an accredited 2 year or less school to learn a trade (Deadline: 10/31/26)

- National Rice Month Scholarship: Available to graduating high school students (2026-27 school year) from the six primary rice-growing states — Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas (Deadline: 10/31/26)

- James Alan Cox Student Photojournalism Scholarships: available to student photographers of high school and college age (Deadline: 11/15/26)

- Women in Financial Markets High School Scholarship: available to 12th grade students from an underserved environment who plan to pursue careers in the financial services industry (Deadline: 10/1/26)

- Texas Armed Forces Scholarship: available to seniors who have a high school GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; or meet the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment College Readiness Standards or qualify for an exemption (Deadline: 9/30/26)

- SparkForce Scholarship: available to seniors who are enrolled or planning to enroll as a full time student taking 12 or more credit hours (or part-time students taking at least 6 credit hours while working) enroll in a manufacturing-related program during the semester for which they are applying (Deadline: 9/30/26)
- Byte into STEM Scholarship: available to any black high school senior, undergraduate, graduate student, boot camp participant, or student in a certificate program may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re pursuing STEM in the U.S. (Deadline: 10/7/26)
- ISACA Scholarship: available to students within the tech space, creating academic and professional pathways, which ultimately culminate in IT- and cyber-related careers (Deadline: 10/20/26)
- NCWIT Award For Aspirations in Computing High School Awards: available to 9th - 12th grade students who are active and interested in computing and technology, and encourages them to pursue their passions (Deadline: 10/27/26)
- National Space Club Scholarship: available to seniors who plan to pursue a degree in STEM (Deadline: 10/30/26)
- Able Flight Scholarship: available to students who are dedicated to the idea that they, too, can change their lives by learning to fly or training for a career in aviation. Able Flight encourages people with a variety of physical disabilities to apply for a scholarship (Deadline: 10/31/26)

Young Women in STEM Scholarship: available to female high school seniors and undergraduate students that are from a low-income household and are pursuing a degree in STEM (Deadline: 11/1/26)

Federal Student Aid (FASFA)
FAFSA is a free application for student grants and scholarships for colleges, technical schools, universities (both private and public). FAFSA typically opens in December of your student's senior year. Please review below some helpful links. Rockwall ISD High Schools typically host Financial Aid Nights. Please look at your high schools website for any details.
